After New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski suffered an ankle injury in the 2012 AFC Championship, the Patriots turned to ankle specialist George Theodore, MD to perform ankle surgery on Gronkowski at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Theodore is the Orthopedic Foot & Ankle consultant to the Patriots and has treated many current and former Patriots players, including Tom Brady and Julian Edelman. Dr. Theodore holds the same position with the Boston Red Sox, New England Revolution, Boston Bruins, Boston Ballet, and Harvard University Athletics.
