Dr. George Theodore performed successful Achilles tendon surgery on New England Revolution midfielder Maciel following the 2022 MLS season. The procedure was performed at Massachusetts General Hospital to repair Maciel’s left Achilles tendon. Maciel’s rehabilitation is expected to take approximately 8-12 months.
