When defenseman Brandon Carlo suffered a fractured left ankle during the 2017-18 NHL season, the Boston Bruins called upon Dr. George Theodore, the team’s Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Consultant, to perform the surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. Following successful surgery, Carlo was back on track for recovery.
Along with his role as the Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Consultant for the Bruins, Dr. Theodore holds the same role with the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, New England Revolution, Boston Ballet, and Harvard University Athletics. Dr. Theodore’s patients have included Tom Brady, David Ortiz, and many more Boston-area athletes.
