Boston Bruins defenseman Jordan Harris is expected to miss several weeks following an ankle injury sustained during the team’s recent game against the Florida Panthers. On October 27, Harris underwent a successful open reduction and internal fixation procedure performed by Dr. George Theodore at Mass General Brigham.
Dr. Theodore — nationally known for his leadership in foot and ankle sports injury care and orthopedic treatment for professional athletes — serves as the Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Consultant for the Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Ballet, Harvard University Athletics, and more.
Harris’ projected recovery time is approximately two months.
